HTML/CSS Web Pages

For 3400, Front-End Design, our team ha to create a website describing the process of Front-End Design from scratch. We were given a list of pages we had to create, chose a color scheme, and began work. We created a few elements that all of us used, but beyond that we only corresponded with each other to make sure out fonts and spacings were the same.

Skills of a Front-End Developer

The first page I was assigned to create summarizes a few of the simple skills a front-end developer needs to do their job. This includes things that seem obvious such as coding knowledge and design skills, but it also includes things that are a bit less obvious such as having good people skills so you can work in a team.

When building this page, I wanted it to be easy to understand the content at a glance. With this in mind, I structured it so that every "item" on the list of skills had its own box with a bold header and a unique image to help convey its meaning.

The Value of Front-End Development

The second page I made was a summary of why Front-End development is valueable to someone who may not be familiar with its ins and outs. The list is short but strong, I believe. It aims itself towards the business world so that it can help members of that field understand the process of design.
